England lose out in World Cup quarters
Rob Cross and Dave Chisnall, representing England in the 2018 Betway World Cup Of Darts won their opening round match against the Czech Republic 5-3 then beat Singapore 2-1 before losing out to Belgium 2-1 in the quarter-finals at the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt, Germany. More info here.

Cross out in Gibraltar quarter-finals
Steve West recorded his first win over Rob Cross in five attempts on the PDC Tour with a 6-5 win in the quarter-finals of the 2018 Gibraltar Darts Trophy. Cross came from 5-2 down to beat Cristo Reyes 6-5 in the second round and followed up with a 6-2 win against Simon Whitlock in the third round.

Cross wins Players Championship 13
Rob Cross claimed his fifth Players Championship title in Wigan today as he beat Ian White 6-4 in the final following wins against Kevin Burness, William O'Connor, Ron Meulenkamp, John Henderson, Jonny Clayton and Stephen Bunting. Further details here.

A sixth Players Championship Final for Cross
Rob Cross reached his sixth Players Championship final today with wins against William O'Connor, Mark Webster, Martin Schindler, Ryan Meikle, Adam Hunt and Michael Smith. In the final, Cross battled back from 5-1 down to trail 5-4 but a couple of missed darts at doubles resulted in a 6-4 defeat against Peter Wright

King narrowly beats Cross in Copenhagen
Mervyn King beat Rob Cross 6-5 in the third round of the Danish Darts Open at the Brondbyhallen in Copenhagen. This result followed a 6-5 win for Cross in the second round as he fought back from 5-3 down against Steve Beaton.

Cross makes quarters at the Metrodome
Rob Cross made the last eight of Players Championship 15 in Barnsley this afternoon with wins against Mickey Mansell, Justin Pipe, Josh Payne and Stephen Bunting. James Wade beat Rob Cross 6-3 in the quarter-finals..

Dolan beats Voltage in last 32 in Barnsley
Brendan Dolan ended Rob Cross' hopes in Players Championship 16 at the Metrodome in Barnsley this afternoon with a 6-3 win in the last 32. Cross beat Ross Smith in the opening round then clawed his way back from 5-1 down to beat former PDC World Championship finalist Kevin Painter 6-5 in the second round.

O'Connor beats Cross at fifth attempt
William O'Connor recorded his first victory over Rob Cross in five attempts as he bounced back from 4-2 down to beat the World Champion in the second round of the 2018 European Darts Matchplay in Hamburg. O'Connor hit six 180s and took out a 93 finish in a 12 dart leg, averaging 94.45. Cross hit two 180s and had a 124 checkout in a 12 dart leg, averaging 98.98. O'Connor went on to reach the final where he was defeated by Michael van Gerwen.
